Creative Hour this Sunday

A quick note to let you know that I’m hosting a Creative Hour on Google Meet this Sunday 8 September at 5pm UK time (timezone converter here). I hope you can join me.

If a project to work on doesn’t immediately spring to mind, I’d recommend picking something that you’ve been putting off (often it’s the ones that we care about the most that are the scariest). I need to finish an article that I’m finding difficult, and these hour-long, communal sessions are an excellent way to push through a block.

Here is some other news in brief: I’m making a new series of the In Writing podcast and it’s coming along swimmingly. You’ll hear it this autumn. I’m also still over on TikTok filming snappy little videos containing writing advice – come and have a look if you’re a TikTok kind of person. And I’m gearing up for the publication of my book in November, which is very exciting. I hope to do something special for Substack subscribers – figuring that out with my publisher so leave that with me.
